It’s been 30 degrees something humid and i think a change has come now in between everything goin on (ere’s 2 life change) Agree with Josh Catone on one application for twitter : “But I think Twitter actually could be a useful method of link discovery. The key is in recognizing that the power of Twitter isn’t that it can point out what the crowd likes (as Tweetmeme and its ilk try to do), but that it can point out what your friends like. If there were a Twitter tool that could look at my friend graph, and then pull out all the links my friends have tweeted and arrange them by popularity (how many times have they been tweeted, weighted toward my friends) and retweets (how many of my friend’s friends thought it was a worthwhile link), it would expose a sort of Digg-like picture of people I already presumably find interesting. The tools to do all this already exist, but nothing that I know of ties it all together by linking it to your friend graph.”

Today’s Crossover Star : Sasha Grey (her myspace blog) in The Girlfriend Experience by Soderbergh with his Cuban HD-Net output deal using a real art-house diggn porn’actress doin the crossover. Nutha great piece by Karina at Sundance : “With a tone and approach vaguely reminiscent of Hal Hartley’s The Book of Life, Experience (at least in the incarnation we saw tonight) feels like an extraordinarily up-to-the-minute slice-of-life, a sketch of the filmmaker’s current preoccupations and fascinations worked out in slick video images that are at once austere and seductive. Subjects are often presented in simple wide shots, with the camera far enough away to suggest surveillance. Close ups, especially of Grey, fail to function as the windows on internal life that Hollywood film trains us to look for. This is a movie about a woman whose sleepy eyes and slight smirk rarely betray the slightest worry or impression. She spends 98 percent of her waking (and sleeping) life strenuously avoiding letting anyone in, and Soderbergh sticks to her surface for about the same percentage of his film.”
The 6P’s : I think I understand the other gender more than I do investors, First Round Capital Entrepreneurs Roundtable via Center Networks, has their own 6 P’s. As opposed to the 4P’s of a product marketer, or 7P’s of services marketing : From what I remember of undergrad days. Their last two Ps I havent seen before and are simultaneously hard to quantify, but important - Patience and Persistence; “They (First Round Capital) focus on six items when reviewing a company for investment: People, Product, Plans, Profit, Patience and Persistence.”

Always on Facebook : I use Zebr when I feel like it which is an airapp for monitoring facebook status updates, but All_Facebook have a neat bookmarking way of installing Facebook friends updates into firefox.
