It’s Sunday morning and I’m watching some Punisher War Zone before heading to Rye (need the coffee before the cawfee) with lots of cameos incl McNulty from The Wire, Newman from Seinfeld and so on. It’s action good. Supra keep bringing it with the NS line and the Burgundy pack of 3 patent items, blood red dope.

Improved Watching : 2nd ep of Dollhouse, by Buffy/Angel creator. Via Sepinwall : “We get some necessary exposition out of the way — Why is security so tight? Why don’t the actives all have default fighting skills? Why does Dr. Saunders have all those scars on her face? — discover that there’s a larger danger to Echo than the people she works for, get our first hints that she’s not as blank a slate as Topher believes (she puts her arm to her shoulder even after being wiped), and get a slick self-contained thriller in the process. All in all, a strong enough hour of television that I’m going to save my larger qualms about the series for an episode that actually provokes them.“

Gr8 Watching : Free Agents, by creators of Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz, the English equivalent of Entourage, but the exact opposite + 2x better too.
I'm Luvn Free Agents about a Newly Divorced Crying Talent Agent in London by Shaun of the Dead creators with that kind of humour - From the pictured Steven Mangan : ""We've got bereavement, people getting divorced, relationships in the work place, and it doesn't shirk from how, so I'm told, people in that world speak.."

Skins formula is sack the gr8 cast and then hire younger ones who r actually 16 not like US shows where 28 yr olds play teenagers. Then each episode profile one character, but dont go for the easy boy gets girl or boy story, well there can be a bit of that mid episode, but by end of ep, girl will be with another boy and not even care about him, coz thats (Effys) true world. The skins team dont compromise, and they can write the shit out of an episode i tellu waht:D
