So back from Sydney stealth mission, up at 4am back by 9pm - Qantas was dare I say it - brilliant : Ran 5 minutes quicker each way - Bonus ! Reading Green Guide on way up I had one of the long term problems I’ve been trying to fix, solved - Playing video files on LCD TV. Nice new Sony LCD Bravia here but Ive barely watched more than a few eps of Underbelly on it, and even that I stopped coz of the 17 minutes of ads every hour.

So its awesome to read about the sub $200AUD/$130US torrent player for LCD TV’s : whether u want to play avi/xvid or mkv/h264 - The WD TV Player standard or high res - just plug in the hdmi cable from + connect to flash drive or storage device (will need to get the WD MyPassport for Mac which is made for the WD TV box) and u have Boxee like UI and something useful to do with a large screen TV. Even has it’s own Flickr group.

Um or I can buy a TW Steel watch, APC baseball jacket.. Common Projects kicks.. altho all of those cost a bit more.. I like products with good reviews.. with Australian availability for $180AUD-ish. Just where is nearest place to buy - from Frankston to Dandenong.. unfortunately the MSY.com.au legends (that sell the Canon G10 for $575 when it retails for $799 and is on sale elsewhere for low $700s hehe) dont seem to stock the TV product of Western Digital only the Passport external storage drive which I’ll also need to get.
Might See : Star Trek this weekend, havent been to a movie in um at least 6 months. I cant wait for #Terminator Salvation now I’ve seen all the TV eps. Here’s a 4 minute clip with Aussie Sam Worthington via Slash Film.
